Combining the stability of Fox’s proprietary plastic with the tone quality and resonance of wood, theĀ Renard Artist Model 330 HybridĀ is the best of both worlds. Featuring all of the same keywork as the original 330, the 330 Hybrid has a top joint made from Fox’s acoustically advantageous plastic, and a lower and bell made from grenadilla wood. With this instrument oboists can enjoy the tone quality and projection associated with wood without having to worry about the upper joint cracking.
